I have read through your website, however I still do not exactly understand what you do. Can offer some further clarification?
Martech HR is what can be defined as a Business Processing Outsourcing organization that focuses on Human Resource services and solutions. We provide consulting and related services in the areas of State Unemployment, Workers' Compensation, Payroll, Health Care Benefits and Human Resource Related Tasks and Administration. Our goal is to save you time, save you money, retain & manage good employees and reduce employer risk.
There are a lot of so called "consulting companies" what makes you different?

I must say with any organization that what makes them different are their people. People who have passion, experience and integrity. We are different as we internalize and implement those three elements in every activitiy. We genuinely seek to serve the smaller business and non-profit segement with cost saving and risk reduction strategies related to Human Resources with dedication and integrity.

I already have someone who provides benefits, does my payroll, and manage my Workers' Compensation. How can you help me?
We always begin our visits with a review and analysis of what you currently have. There are many ways to save money, save time, and reduce employer risk. For example; if you are doing your own payroll, how much more time could you save if you outsourced it? If you have a benefits broker, is he/she doing an analysis of what you have, why you have it, and how it may reduce tax liability every year? If you have someone managing your Workers' Compensation, have they plugged you into a group? Or are you in a group? Or do you know if you can pay a lessor premium than what you are paying now? Is your employee handbook up to date with the recent changes? Are you at risk with what you have in place now? We help answer those questions and more while providing services and solutions focused on HR.
 

I am uncertain of this whole PEO model. Will I lose control of my employees?

The PEO is a vendor to your company like any other vendor. A service agreement is in place to where the PEO will "co-employ" your employees to offer potential discounts and management of the HR and administrative tasks of your business. Control does not change. You decide who you hire, who you fire, and how you run your business. You are the worksite employer, the PEO is the HR administrative employer. You are still in control and if your PEO is not performing, you should be able to terminate the relationship. In today's economy business are turning to outsourced solutions to either compliment what they have in place or to outsource the entire activity to save time, money, reduce risk and compete in today's business environment.
 
What is the difference between what you are calling an ASO and a PEO?
A PEO co-employees your employees to where you "plug into" their discounts on SUTA, Health Care Benefits, and Workers' Compensation. Most good PEOs are excellent risk managers and hold certifications and degrees of excellence in Human Resouces. All of Martech's PEOs hold PHR designations. An ASO is what Martech may provide at the clients preference for HR administrative and management tasks outside the co-employment agreement. We analyze and review what may truly be best for the client. we then recommend one and at times even both models.

 

All I need is payroll right now. Can I just have you take over my payroll?

Often it is best to have a PEO or a more indepth ASO arrangement, however Martech HR offers payroll through our co-branded vendor.

 

I do not like discussing HR related issues or take part in HR tasks and administration. I get calls from my employees and State agencies that I don't understand or care to deal with. Can you handle all of that and come on-site to help with those issues and tasks?
Absolutely. We prefer face to face interaction. We are a relationship oriented organization that pride ourselves on keeping our clients and our client's employees pleased.

I have an employee handbook that is years old. Can you just touch up our handbook or provide us an Employee Handbook?

With the current administration there have been numerous changes over the last 18 months. We can either update your current handbook or provide to you a new handbook.
I am thinking of starting a new business. I am uncertain of how to get things started. Can you help?
